Alkaline Side Dishes/Snacks: Tomatos with Tofu & Basil
Tomatoes and Tofu both fit very well in an Alkaline Diet Plan.
Tofu is made of soy beans and has an alkaline effect on the body pH-level.
For each person slice one tomato and arrange the slices on a plate. Put some salt and pepper to taste.
Cut the tofu in very thin slices, then marinate it in the lemon juice and also add some salt and pepper.
Then put the slices on top of the tomatoes.
Afterwards, pour over the minced garlic and the olive oil and decorate with the fresh basil leaves.
Enjoy your alkaline snack or appetizer!
