Alkaline Side Dishes/Snacks: Stuffed Avocados
Did you know that avocados are one of the best health foods on earth? Scientists have proved that a certain toxin present in avocados is able to kill cancer cells.
Furthermore, potassium in avocado can regulate pressure of blood, and oleic acid in avocado can be used to lower cholesterol level in the blood.
So enjoy this healthy alkaline Avocado snack!
Cut avocado in half and remove seed. Then season both halves with salt and pepper.
Now mix the chopped tomato, the minced onion, the lime juice as well as the olive oil and place it in the avocado pit holes.
Last but not least, sprinkle basil and oregano on top and serve with a spoon.
