Alkaline Side Dishes/Snacks: Kohlrabi-Carrot-Carpaccio
This alkaline recipe is actually one of my favorites, as it is fresh, raw and you feel energized immediately. Kohlrabi is full of dietary fiber and is rich in Vitamin C.
Celery is often used in weight loss diets, as it has the ability to burn loads of calories.
In short, this recipe is an ideal alkaline treat!
Peel celery and carrot and dice them finely, along with spring onion.
Put it into a salad bowl and mix well.
Combine lemon juice, salt, pepper, chives and cress and combine with vegetables in the bowl.
Peel kohlrabi and cut it into very thin slices.
Arrange them on 2 big plates and pour vegetable-dressing-mix over kohlrabi slices.
