Acidic or alcaline?

Postby Alice in wonderland on Thu Jul 01, 2010 10:15 pm

Hi,

Here are some aliments that I wonder about:

- Raw organic unsweetened cacao
- Raw organic honey
- Orange
- organic red wine (without sulfites and other preservatives)
- organic sake
- spelt
- Buckwheat
- Quinoa
- Rice (which type is eatable?)

Also, I would love to eat more consistent food, what else than millet can I have?

How can we have an alcaline diet on a long term basis??

Cheers,
Alice

Hi, well I'll try to answer that to my best knowledge :

Raw organic unsweetened cacao - no idea
Raw organic honey - acidic
Orange - acidic
organic red wine (without sulfites and other preservatives) - acidic like all alcoholic beverages
organic sake - acidic like all alcoholic beverages
spelt - alkaline
Buckwheat - alkaline
Quinoa - alkaline
Rice - if rice, then brown or whole grain rices, both are slightly acidic

How can we have an alcaline diet on a long term basis?? - cooking alkaline recipes!! that's what i do already 2 years, it' really ok.

On this website they offer an ebook called "The 33 best alkaline recipes" why don't you get it, i can really recommend it, tried it by myself... http://www.balance-ph-diet.com/alkaline_recipes_ebook.html
