2. Your list of Alkaline Foods is based on which criteria? – The list is based on Shelley Redford Young's research, publicized in "Back To The House Of Health". The chart identifies various foods' pH-level. Each food is assigned a number which mirrors its approximate relative potential of alkalinity (+) or acidity (-) existent in one ounce (28.35g) of food. The higher the number, the more alkaline is the food.
